This is a Celtic or Welsh lovespoon. I used a scroll saw to cut the blank from basswood and carved and burned in the detail. I submitted the spoon to the Fraser Valley carving show, the Richmond carving show and Quilchena carving show and was very pleased with the results!

Another beautiful piece. I love your Celtic geometry. In fact, I’m shared this with my wife and she is very impressed. She said to tell you this is awesome and I wholeheartedly agree.

I agree…. very pretty spoon! Love how smoothly the over/under is carved. Congrats on your ribbons.
