This is my first cutting board, it is end grain maple and walnut . I learned a lot about gluing and clamping I can see the flaws but my wife loves it and in the end that is all that counts. All comments are welcome and well received, its how I learn.

that looks very nice…especially since it is a first cutting board. Might just be the start of many more…

Two glue ups, one just maple and one maple and walnut. When cut and turned on end rotate the maple and walnut 180 every other strip. Then the final glue up. Thanks for looking wiser.

I love this pattern as well. I have done a few boards, but have wanted to get into the patterns like this one. Do you have any process pictures? I would love to attempt one, if you didn’t mind?
