After a few hours of turning… The dimensions are 19 inches tall and about 6 inches in diameter. The vase will actually be a weed pot for dry grasses. I am drawing some designs that will be burnt into the vase (still under debate).
Confirmed that it is Ambrosia Maple.
Woodburning with a gloss poly finish.
