When the young man came to me to ask for my blessings to propose to my daughter, I had numerous emotions.
When I gave him the third degree and asked for promises, he said he would.
When he told me that he wanted the ring to be something special and felt that nothing would mean more to her than a ring made by her father, he had me…
It wasn’t until later that I realized that I had no idea how to make a ring…

That’s a lot of pressure. I always like it better when a story goes with the project. Remind them that in essence you will be with them 24/7. :-)

Just amazing. The story is at least 50% of the materials used to make the ring. A true heirloom piece.
