Ring boxes for a fall wedding

Request from a family member for a friend’s wedding. Same process as a band saw box, but I used the scroll saw for the best finish after cutting since it is aromatic cedar. Also, sliced off a piece of the inside scrap and glued it to the top on the inside so the top aligned when closed. Approx 2 1/2×4. Left the inside natural, outside is lacquer. Made 2 so the bride could give the second as a gift for the ring bearer.

With the maple leaf motif you’d think you were a fellow Canadian. :)
