Wooden Map my girlfriend and I made this weekend. She did all the hard parts. She drew on everything by hand and then stained it. I just put the boards together and mounted it on the wall.

Agreed – this is really original and looks really impressive. How did you keep the stain inside the lines ?

She used a very small paint brush and then just wiped it back towards the inside with paper towels.

I would have bet the stain would bleed beyond the pencil lines. Great to to see I would have lost that bet!

Damn… When I saw the thumbnail of this project I thought for sure you had the map printed out on sticker paper.. haha Nice work (your girlfriend mostly… hahaha)
