Well after a year of dithering and weeks of actual work in the shop, here is the long-promised wine-glass rack I built for my lady. The first blog post detailing the build is here.

I wanted to try a local hardwood and went with aspen (I’m in Colorado). It is very white and so I stained it golden pecan. All the screws holding everything together were affixed from above so that none show upon viewing from below. I screwed four 4” long screws into the wall studs through the rear-shelf retaining rail.

My client (my lady) was very happy and has been busily adding more glasses by the day.

That’s really cool Brad. I like the design and you made a great job of the build too. No wonder your wife is happy!

Very nice Brad. I’m glad my wife’s not on here to see it.

Awesome Glass Rack! The dovetails really set it off.
