I was cleaning out my shed yesterday, when I came across this table top. I thought it would make a nice workbench/Outfeed Table. The legs are made out of Walnut, because I wanted this table to be really sturdy. It’s the same height as my table saw. But it’s also a great workbench!

Thanks for reading,
AJ

That’s a nice way of turning nothing into Something!

Very good… COOL!

I was able to use a couple of old chest of drawers, end to end, covered with half a sheet of plywood to do the same thing… an outfeed area as well as a work surface. It works out pretty well. ... and I have all those drawers for storage!

Thanks Joe! Taking old pieces and bringing them to life is awesome! I try to think of what I can do to my shop. Like the layout of all the tools, is this the best area for this? Things like that really can make a shop comfortable.

Good thinking AJ! It’s great when you find something you can use in the shop to make things go better. I have a little roll around table I built for the same purpose.

Great thinking. Very inventive. That will greatly improve the capabilities of your saw.

Good job AJ.

Im going to build one of these next weekend. You used Walnut for the legs?!? LOL use the legs for a nice box or something and replace them with some 4×4’s. That way, it is still as still as sturdy and you have some beautiful wood for another project!

Nice looking table tho

Have your say...
