Here it is gang, hope you may have enjoyed tonights blog. Some fresh cut cherry, a real gift to have if carving spoons is your gig. I hope you might enjoy this one. There is so much more to this craft that lends to all aspects of the handtools game. A fantastic exercise to venture into learning about new timbers and how they work.

I have some cherry logs from limbs sitting in the garage… in the burn pile.. maybe I should have a go at carving into a utensil?

And I watched the really old video (pre 1930’s) showing how to make a pair of wooden shoes from a log… I need to find that link again… it was before sound… so subtitles in Swedish…
