Project Information
Hi folks,
I've already blogged this thing just about to death, so if you want the details, feel free to go check it out. The short version is I found this sort of Lego desk online, decided I had to have it, and spent most of this year cloning the design. It's now done. Along the way I've learned all I ever wanted to know about dyes and stains, hybrid HVLP spraying of dyies and finish, and a couple other things I had to figure out along the way. Materials wise, it cost me 2 sheets of birch ply, 4 oz. of powdered dye, and a quart of Arm-R-Seal. Of course, I had to get an HVLP gun, a bigger compressor, build a spray booth in my garage, etc., but it was all fun. Thanks for all the inspiration.
