Spent the better part of the last few weeks building this platform bed. Walnut and birch. The drawer pulls have finger relief routed in the bottoms. Just several coats of semi-gloss poly for a simple finish. Decided I don’t like the puck lights in the headboard so I plan on replacing them with some LED strips when I can find the appropriate ones. If I build another one it will have fewer drawers, by the time I got to the 12th one it was getting a little tedious.

looks like a good bed
i think 12 drawers is about right
2 for you
and 10 for the wife
seems fair
made one similar years ago
before the drawers got started
the three dogs claimed their spots under it
never did have drawers

Great bed very practical
David I only get one and it is for keeping
dog toys in it, that is the only way I get a spot
on the bed. I throw a ball or two and grab the
warm gap left behind.

You did a great job on that bed! I love the headboard and the lights. With all those drawers, who needs closets or dressers.
