Walnut 6 1/8” x 1 3/4”.
Here is a bowl I used to with my “Cherry Cordial” treatment. A mixture of Aniline Dye of Cardinal Red with a touch of Black Dye. Tung Oil, 3 coats with Steel Wooled in between and then Buffed with Carnuba Wax.

Nice bowl Kerux. I especially like the attractive foot and the finish.

This is another beautiful bowl. Did you bleach the walnut before applying the dye? I am just curious. I would have thought the walnut would have subdued the red somewhat.
Thanks for the post.

I have a lot of cherry just waiting to be cut. I hope mine turn out as nice as this one.

Scott,
No bleaching, but the dye is MUCH brighter than what it came out on the Walnut.

Brian,
Not Cherry, it’s Walnut that I dyed after turning.
