This is a little design project I am going to do with my students. Students loved the idea. Students design the dock based off their phone. I will post pictures of the results when the project is finished. If there are any other high school woodwork teachers out there that want to share ideas let me know. It’s amazing to be surrounded by teenagers who love working with wood.

That is great. I would think that would be a great way to make an IPAD TV stand…. Very cool.

You have my perfect dream job… I would love to quit Corporate America and do something that matters… I can’t think of anything better than passing along the trades to young students everywhere.

The students have certain criteria for the design. One criteria is that the speaker must work. If you look on the back there is a port for the speaker that was drilled out with a series of Forstner bits. The inside is lined with felt to keep the phone from getting scratched.
