Here’s a bench I made. These type of projects always sucker me in. They look awesome in the magazine, but they never look as good in the shop, mainly because they need a good paint job to make them look good and I’m not much of a painter. This one turned out OK though. You can at least tell its supposed to be a moose (I hope).

Oliver,
I believe that, albeit humble, ”This one turned out OK though.”, is an understatement.
Your ‘Moose Bench’ may be a little short for most Moose to sit down on, but I, for one would be proud to display and offer it as a resting spot for my little Moose Voyeur, Great-Grandchildren.
Your painting detail is spot on. – Grandpa Len.

Either you sit on it or you ride on it! A very crafty idea matched with a skillful execution!

That is the coolest bench I have ever seen! I love the antlers. Did you use an available pattern? I need to make one of these for my daughters porch on her new house. She has all kinds of moose collectables and would love this!

It’s a good looking piece. Nothing wrong with simple designs, that’s where we all got started.

Moose bench!
Lookit that bench…It’s HUGE. (In best Elvis voice.)
What? No SNL fans? I thought it was Nick Cage’s best role personally.
Oh yeah, nice bench. I’m easily sidetracked :)
