Old(ish) dutches, few bora holes and battle scars of life. Since this dutchess is for a 1 year, it didn’t have to be perfect, but the bora and battle scars it had were well a bit much, so wood filler and sanding… There wasn’t any major repair work required.

It is Rimu, we stained with a mix of black walnut and rose colour and then sprayed 3 coats of multi purpose sealer… It has come up really nice… bought it for $5, probably could sell it if I wanted to for $120… lol

The handles are, Tigger, Piglett, Eeyore, Pooh Bear.

I know not a very flattering photo… but hey I never said I was a photographer…

Really like your colors. Very eye catching. Nice save!

Nice to see rimu being saved.
For non-kiwis, ‘bora’, of course is ‘borer’, then apply usual kiwi tendency to pronounce some r’s and not others.
