This is the very first project I made with wood. Its more of a keepsake now. It was home to my router bits and tools for a while. Now it just sits in the corner and collects dust. Its nothing special but I cant get rid of it. First mortised hinges (more of a hack job), first rabbits, first drawer build, first application of finish (tung oil). Every project is a learning experience and a reminder of how much you can improve. This one is a reminder of how far my hobby has come. Its always good to look at the past :)

Welcome to LJ’s.

Always good to remember where you came from.

A nice first build. I am sure you will find a use for it at some point, for know it serves as a good reminder. I have a number of these sitting around my shop.
