7’ long. Because it is too high for anyone to see the top surface it is secured to the wall with pocket hole screws drilled on the top. Completely changed the look of the room for less money than a night out to eat :)

Thanks! I will suggest that when making the triangle supports, cut the stock so that the hypotenuse of the triangle is straight grain. If not than any router detail on the supports will be routed end grain.

What a gr8 idea. Wow. I like the collection of those fine horses also. A perfect way for extra space for trinkets, or collectables beside a glass cabinet.
