I really enjoy intarsia, and I’ve done about a hundred of them. I can’t take credit for the designs, as they are mostly drawn by Judy Gale Roberts. But All of them are a challenge, in their own way, especially the tiger. That took me almost 6 months to complete. The cat on a limb was the first intarsia I ever attempted. It’s not the greatest quality, but it was my first step in the process.

-- Cats, beer and wood...perfect.

Hello Bubbs! That is a great looking piece! I love to see these intarsia project! It takes a lot off time, and a great eye to put it all together, and have it look amazing! The wood direction, and shading is beautiful. Thanks for showing us!

Excellent job. Very tight work. The finish you use really makes the wood sing.
