White oak blanket chest

In 2003, I built this blanket chest for my granddaughter. Of course, that meant I had to build more for each of the other grandchildren. They should last them their whole lives. These were very enjoyable projects.

With strong joinery like that I can see them lasting a life time! Beautiful work!

Very nice! I am amazed that you got by with just one lid support. I ended up with three when all was said and done. The addition of dovetails really makes this chest stand out as a quality piece.
