This is a donation box I was asked to Create for our local senior center. I used redwood decking, that I salvaged from work. (org. 1950’s decking from “Tahoe Taverns” N.lake tahoe). And some scraps of pine left over from the new bath window trim. The measurments are 14 3/8” W x 5 5/8” H x 9 3/8” D. The requierments where as follows, all donations must be anonomous (Your hand and money, or lack of. can’t be visiable), box must be lockable, portable, and fit on less than a third of a 20”x 42” table top. Nothing to special lrg. finger joints for the box cont. and a few coats of laquer. Not my fav. style but it is my design. hope you all like it. any does or dont’s you see? I love new info.

You did a great box. Hope they collect a lot of money. I believe selling the box would bring a good deal of money.

Can you explain just what the text (Your hand and money, or lack of. can’t be visiable), means when you get a chance please.

I understand that you sould not be able to see inside it bit
The box work ….brilliant

Wow! That’s pretty involved for your first box (and it turned out just beautifully). Redwood and pine never looked so good.

Very nice! Hopefully, this will draw more donations. FWIW, our church has installed credit card centers- instant offering.
