These are two maple boxes with Cocobolo knobs and leather interiors. Similar with a few slight design differences.
I nade one about a month ago and the other this past week. Dam…! This is fun…

Those look great, what type of tools do you use to do all your carving?

Once again wonderful boxes, glad that you keep sharing your fun with us. Hope that new sanding room in
your shop is still keeping your lungs clear.

Is there a video somewhere of how to make these boxes? How in the world do you carve that? Beautiful.

We both posted twins on the same day which proves that great minds do think alike! I love this pair. The almost snow white maple contrasts perfectly with the cocobolo handles. And your carving/sculpting is perfect as usual.

I always appreciate all the kind comments. Thanks…!
Vince…I use an angle grinder, a electric carver and a pile of sandpaper.
Gus…the sanding room is worth its weight in gold. I still wear a Trend Air shield in addition to the dust collectors.
Jon1094…no video…I have never even owned a video camera.
Andy…you are correct great minds do think alike …but my wife says I am out of my mind and possible lost it.
grizzman…you gotta have fun to keep your sanity…
