Hi everyone i am having a art show all this weekend so i thought i would post a few pics of my birdhouse collection for the lumberjocks that can’t make it here . This is one third of my total collection that i still have in my yard .All 14 of them . They are all made from reclaimed barn wood . If this keeps up i will need a bigger yard . lol I even wore my Lumberjock shirt

Simply Amazing! Good luck at the show… Wonder what people driving by the house when you took these pictures think….

You need to do a display in a setting of a town square or an old west town, that would be cool.

When I look at these creations, I am simply amazed. Amazed at their size. Amazed at the craftsmanship displayed. And, amazed that birds actually view them a viable living spaces. I don’t know why the last one amazes me so, but it does. Everytime you post one these it is a pleasure to see.

I agree with Diane’s’ post…I didn’t realize how really big the larger bird houses were till you stood next to them..WOW! It’s pretty impressive to see them all grouped together..represents allot of hard work, craftsmanship and great design work. Good luck with your show my friend…I hope you get so many orders you cant handle them all!

Those are fantastic John. Good luck with the show – I’m sure there’ll be a lot of jaws hanging slack.

By the way, what’s that green stuff you’re standing on????

Hello John;
—-as I’ve said before, your work with the 3R’s of re-claimed, re-used, re-cycled wood in building these more than….’like life size birdhouses’, is an act of determined creation in the practice of ‘wood art’. Good luck….but then you don’t need luck since you are ‘the man’ when it comes to birdhouses!

I have also have noticed that it seems as if you made it through the winter and snow….seems as if there’s ‘green’ all around you there.

Thank you for sharing….and,
GODSPEED,
Frank

John;

These are magnificent. The time you spend on these to make them so authentic is amazing.

I hope you sell them all so you don’t have to buy a bigger yard.

John, I don’t believe I’ve told you this before, but you truly do have an amazing talent. Your eye for perspective (and ability to execute the vision) is beyond remarkable. Very nice work.
