This is a porch swing of quarter sawn white oak. I have always wanted to make one, and had just that opportunity when a client asked me to build them one. The hardest part of the project was trying to get the dimensions and scale correct without a plan. It was a fun project.

That looks almost identical to the one hanging on my in-law’s porch. It’s comfortable enough to sit and swing all afternoon. Good job!
