This 5” bowl was done this past week after seeing member “trifern’s posting of his project “deadwood” about 8 days ago. I’m not putting this work in His catagory by any means but wanted to try his 3 dye staining technique. It was a great learning experience and will use it in the future. Please keep in mind that this started as very white maple with practically no figure, so if nothing else this technique can really jazz up a plain hunk of wood!......Thanks for looking…...............;-J

The staining makes me want to put my hands all over it and rub it to death! Very touchable!
