I’m jealous ! this is a real work of art and the pattern is simple yet amazing…I think you really hit the right color combination here …Has it been oiled yet ? My guess would be not oiled in this picture….. I have yet to try an end grain board , but I think you just inspired me to give it a try ! Thank you very much : )

I really like this. The end grain in the purpleheart jumps out and gives the whole pattern/design another dimension. Thanks for posting!
