Handrails: red oak, stained, clear lacquer
Spindles: poplar, turned, spray painted white, clear lacquer

A fun project, kept me busy for quite some time…

Nice ! Interesting look on the upper level balasturs with no shoe rail. I like the look. Is that first level newell through or fitted too the starter step ? Nice job, and I understand, I have spent weeks on similar jobs. JB

Fantastic! That certainly is a lot of spindles to turn! Top-notch craftsmanship. It took us a long time to put together our stair railings (from purchased parts) and they’re not even remotely close to your work so we can imagine how intense that job was!

Laminated handrails? Router or shaper to cut the profile?
