China can keep those chinsey, junk TV tray tables.
We use them quite a bit and I just couldn’t take the old ones anymore.
So, using a plan posted by RonaldWalters47 off You Tube (thanks Ron), I made a set of full sized and infinitely better TV tray tables.
Just in time for the Foot Ball season !
They are solid oak.
The legs and support arms are finished in Boiled Linseed Oil and the tops are finished in Black Stain with Polyurethane.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.
And, GO BEARS !

Excellent idea. There are times I could use something like that, I will keep them in mind.
They will probably outlive either of us, so be sure to personalize them with your signature underneath and the date….........and of course the first game of their baptismal…..........(-;
Hope the Bears win….........

We also use these trays quite a bit (the cheap Walmart type). I have been eyeing an upgrade on ours and maybe a couple for the RV.
I notice yours has a larger surface. I like that. I would also like to incorporate a hole for a drink glass if possible. I notice your new ones have braces on both sides of the legs. Most store bought trays only have the brace on one side. Your creation seems it may be hard to find a place for your feet and legs to go under while eating from the trays. You may have this figured out and I don’t.
Nice project…....................

Da Bears!
They’re on TV tonight versus the Pack and it will be a good initiation for these good looking TV trays.
All the prognosticators are predicting the Pack to be the division champs … I beg to differ … go Bears.

Those came out nice.
Should the cross brace have been left off on one side of the legs?
Feet clearance.

Very nice. If it’s not too inconvenient, a photo of the underside of the table would be interesting. Thank you.
