This table I got at a yard sale for only two dollars! It was really rough when I got it, but it would be a good project for me. My Mom has always wanted a booth, she likes a booth better than table and chairs. And for two dollars! I couldn’t walk away. It took awhile to fit in the car, but we finally got it to fit. The top on the table, and on the benches are 2’’ solid oak. It took awhile to do all of the sanding, but I had to sand it or the paint wouldn’t turn out that good. This was a great project for me, it looks great and Mom loves it!

Nice work! That’s a great deal on those. If it is 2” solid oak, for $2 I would’ve bought those and just tossed out everything but the tops (don’t need a booth). Nice work.

Hey that is really neat, AJ!! If you are going to be a woodworker and a scrounger, you need to get a station wagon! You can bring home a whole lot more stuff!!

Nice going on that booth!!. You are quite the builder!!!!!!!!!!...........Jim

Good save. Never pass on good wood. Keeping mom happy is good practice for keeping a wife happy :-)

I just love booths for a kitchen nook. I would have to make something like this.
Looks warm and comfortable.

Thank you, I like a booth better than a table too.

Love it! Great work. Keep it up—you’ll have a lifetime pasttime (and maybe a career) if you keep it up.
