I was getting so frustrated constantly trying to set the height of my router bit in my standard Router Table. I built this Router Table from plans courtesy of Norm Abram and enhanced it by adding a motorised lifting mechanism. It’s a great piece of kit which allows me to raise and lower the bit with ease and extreme accuracy. I can also raise the bit into the work piece to create stopped dados or mortises.

Look great. I would be interested to see details of the lifting mechanism.

Will it work with any router lift? Where did you find it?
