I continue having problems of not being able to throw away knotty and gnarled leftovers from the previous project. Cutting out the blank, I left as much bark as I could and was able to squeak out a ‘funky’ boot.

If you rub it, they say that you will be granted three wishes. I hope that is right as I start seeing my shrink next week. She’s young and beautiful …i wish…, tall with an hour glass figure…iwish….,has a lot of money,....iwish…., drives a Mercedes convertible and likes old men….iwish…POOF! Darn, lost it all!!!

Anyways, this was an interesting project. Guess I’ll just have to keep carving old boots!!!

Beautiful creation, Roman, except the background is a little busy (leafy), I thought. It was competing for attention with the main subject!
