This is a platform bed was built to match a customer’s existing furniture. We built the bed only without a headboard. It is our standard Captain's Pedestal with a slight modification at the drawers closer to the foot. We combined the smaller drawer into one big drawer.

We also added a 5’ long drawer that pulls out of the foot, between the drawer cabinets. This is great for seasonal stuff.

I have never seen a bed as multi-functional as this.
Great job!

Thanks everyone.

I’ve never thought about it but I guess it could be a base of a bunk.

Great work.Nice looking bed.The platform bed has become increasingly popular in bedroom interior design. You can use the bed in your own room, or you can buy it for use as a guest bed. Your guests will love it.
