well here is my latest quick evening project. my sister decided to replace her deck stairs, and they were rotten (11 yrs old). she brought out the old stringer and asked if i could fix it, um….sure. so a new pc and an hour of my time and here it is, and of course now she says maybe the other one too….......

After all this time, you should be able to understand that sisters just do not seem to understand wood and
that if they give you part of a project, brother you are supposed to be able to understand the whole darn
thing immediately and tell her exactly how to fix the darn thing and then proceed to do it for her. I do not
think that sisters have changed that much over the years. Looking at the stringer, I imagine the treads should
be included in the project. Price subject to the usual family negotiation with the wife included. With two
females against one male, you know how this is going to end. Thank you for sharing.

A classic excample of not doing what expected …. LOL
but here after you better finish things on the beloved ones to do list

yes I learned it the hard way too so back when I had minivan it was filled with tools
every time they wanted help with a single screw in the wall :-)
now I don´t have a car they realy preciated the work I did back then
the handyman are quite expencive to call every month … LOL

It’s always nice to help out a sister, I’m sure she will be really grateful. Besides, it gets you up from the sofa and and excuse to play in the shop.
