Project Information

Made these two trucks for my neighbors sons . Neighbor had some tree work done on our property line and would not let me help with paying . So decided to make the trucks for his sons .Trucks are made out of maple and walnut . Cab is based on a plan from wood magizine from a few years ago trailer is my design trailer from wood magazine was going to be to big at three feet long . The trailer I built is two feet long . Bought wheels and other parts needed from meisel hardware they have a kit with all the parts for the cab minus the wood .I now have a great appreciation for all the toy builders on this site the trucks where a fun project to build would do it again The boys really liked them the smiles where worth the work. Thanks Rob any and all comments are welcome

Mike I would use some kind of hard wood oak ash maple anythink like that I had the walnut on hand got it cheap that is why I used walnut . Only other advise I can give is to take your time this trucks have alot of small parts to make and install. But I had alot of fun making them and the boys loved them .Any other questions don't hesitate to ask thanks for the complementv Rob
