Finishing up a commissioned bedroom suite for a friend. She wanted something painted, straight-lined, and inexpensive. This is made of poplar and pine, painted with Rust-o-leum gloss white oil paint and a foam roller.
Only unexpected difficulty was that the drawer face becomes part of the structure (since there’s no cross pieces in the front). I was worried until the bottom shelf and the drawer bottom support went in, and the problem solved itself. Serves me right for worrying.
