Wedding Plaque

Another request project completed. Carved in basswood and stained with Minwax #230 Early American. Topped off with six to seven coats of polyurethane, steel-wooling between each application.

Although I’m not particularly pleased with the outcome of the stain (i.e. splotchy, runny), this proved to be a rewarding excercise in lettering, low-relief and design in general.
