I obtained some rough cut oak and planed it to thickness. I then cut my segments, glued them. I accented with three rings of Black Walnut. The jar is 11 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The local Oak here in Southern Oregon is not very hard and is easy to work with. It turns extremely well.

Good Job! I especially like the way the lid fits flush with the rest of the bowl. Way to go, big brother.
