This is a Cupcake display I just made for a co-worker. Who will be decorating it for her daughter’s birthday party.

It is 16” tall and made from 1/2” MDF.
The bottom tray is 13” with an 11” base glued to it to raise it up.
The middle tray is 10” and the top tray is 7”
The bottom riser is 1 1/2” dowel at 7” and the top is 6”. I drilled the center of the dowel out with a 1/4 bit.
It is all held together with a 5/32 rod with a wooden drawer pull on the top and a T-nut in the base. Due to the length of the rod holding everything together I got a chance to practice threading the rod on both ends.
All the disc were cut on the tablesaw.

Considering how popular cupcakes are these days, I imagine you could be making these full time. Nothing wrong with a simple design that does the job perfectly.

Just ignore that a-hole in the first post – it looks like he signed up just to post a bunch of rude comments on people’s projects and profiles.

FHLAWB – Read the description better next time. Its 4 pieces of MDF.

Kookaburra – There is always one in every group.
