Just a bit of fun with plywood. These are laminated 6 inch squares of plywood and the fun part was I didn’t have a clue what I was aiming at, just went for whatever…. mainly to see if the corners held after loosing them when I did the previous project (turning on a bias). Noticed that the last of my 5 litre of glue was reaching it’s use by date so will be doing a lot of gluing.

Nice look. I never though a lot about turning plywood. Might have to try it sometime.

G’day, Bob. I looked at that and thought you had made 2 bowls to fit inside each other. That looks tricky to cut with those corners spinning around!! Now you have challenged me to make something unique with my plywood layup. I have a crazy idea and I’ll see if it works. Cheers…..........Jim

Thanks for the comments, Pete I hope it gets others trying plywood. Chuck, Jim, did it in separate layers before gluing up, but still got caught with a corner while finishing the bottom, I should have finished sanding all sections first and got a better finish. But was a fun project, next a hollow doughnut vase. As if?
