Dusty,
This is a nice little clock. Most of us have your aversion for “wasting” wood and I often get yelled at for all the clutter in my shop. But, as I sure you know, every cutoff is simply a project waiting to happen.
Nice job and keep saving the off cuts.

Like Scott says, those cutoffs are just waiting for the right opportunity to be something like an attractive little clock. (Of course the wood has more patience than I do). Nice use of a small piece of wood.
