I milled this floor from our reclaimed “Granary Boards”. Most of this wood came from barns in Pennsylvania that were 150-300 years old. I ran the rough boards through the planer and wide belt sander, then ripped it to the correct widths. Then I ran them all through the shaper with a flooring cutter set. I delivered the milled wood to the customer in Sedona where another craftsman laid the floor, inlaid fossils and finished it. They did a great job!

Very well done it is! Recycling wood means so much to our environment. Excellent idea!

Uh, the idea of the fossils is a bit weird and quite well thought at the same time.
The wood came out pretty good-looking!

I love recycled barnwood floors. I need to post the ones I did from my dad’s barn. The inlays are certainly unique! How is this floor finished?
