Map definitely. Very cool looking bowl. Does the inside have the same figuring? Nice use for a beautiful piece of wood.

Map in this position and possibly clouds if upside down : ) Very nice spalting : )
More photos would be nice !

Yes, the spalting carries through in basically the same pattern on the inside

Easily recognizable as the United States of Spalta in the deciduous hemisphere. Nice bowl. Thanks for sharing.

hi very nice piece of turning love the spalted in it was it hard to work with or did it stand up to the chisels or did it tear out did you have to use something to harden it up very nice bowl
