Here’s a guitar I designed, not ever to build as full size guitar due to I do not play so why put all the time into one if I can’t play it. But I doodle a lot and wanted to make a wall hanging one that would look cool on the wall. It is about 24 inches long made from a poor example of Quilted Maple (took me two years and two cameras to get pictures showing any figure) not sure what the neck is made from it was scrap material I found on a construction site that I put a thick Walnut veneer over. Pickups are Ebony with Stainless Steel rod, also has some brass sheet & Mosaic Pin Stock.

Roger, a really wild guitar. Don’t let not being able to play, stop you from building a real one. I currently own a wal-mart acoustic, two gibson electrics and three acoustics I built. I can’t play a lick but I am starting lessons. Keep up the fine work.

what a wonderful piece of art – and yes it seems to be begging to be played.

Cool looking guitar and a really interesting idea to make it just because. I think it’s a good idea to do some skill-building/learning projects once in a while.
