This is a Shadowbox I made for a young Marine I work with. He is a really hard worker and wanted to do something nice for him.

I want to thank WoodJediNTraining for his Shadowbox video, it really inspired me on this project.

Very nice work Larry. The thin splines of contrasting wood is a great touch. Overall a nicely crafted project that I’m sure will be received well. Is the Marine emblem hand harved?

Great job! Got to love it. Tell the Marine thank you for his service, and thanks for sharing.

Ron, I cut it out on the scroll saw and used a dremel tool to carve the emblem.

That is an awesome piece! That is one lucky Lance Corporal. He will surely treasure that for the rest of his life. Semper Fidelis!

That Eagle Globe and Anchor is out-freaking-standing! Any Marine would be proud to receive that. Excellent tribute to the Corps!
