I love cheap projects, this project was made using a $5 piece of birch ply wood I bought at a recycling place some pine cuts offs and some molding I recycled from some oak doors. It makes a nice little chest, and a fun project to make in a couple of days if you want uses no nails or screws you could build this easily in an afternoon

Looks well done. Is the design on top painted, carved or inlaid?

that would be a paint job, I wanted do an inlay but I don’t have the right tools and skill to do this yet. I would in the future like to try do make an inlay
