These are a custom pair I made for a guy. He didnt like them in the end, so I put them in my ebay store. They were gone in less than an hour. Solid Sugar Maple with some burl. Pieces like this & the other 1 piece log stools that I do, keep me in sandpaper. I sell 2 – 5 a week. 60 lbs each… almost as much to ship as to buy. Rough cut with chainsaw (Shindiawa) then sanded from 24 grit to 150 & finished with spar urethane. Thanks, Ted.

These are interesting pieces. You get some woodworking time and manage to earn a commission out of it as well. Sounds like a winning combination to me.

Ah yes….if stools and tables mated… may want to check out this post from my BIL ScottB. My Dad has been making what we call “Stoobles” for years. Nice to see them spreading across the country….
