This bowl measures 12” wide by 2” tall and has a segmented wenge rim. The bowl is koa. I picked up the wood in Hawaii while on vacation. I pick some up each time I go there as prices are too high on the mainland:)

This is beautiful. Koa has such a wonderful grain pattern. I can well understand that picking some up would be justification as an excuse for a trip to Hawaii alone. But it is nice to combine a vacation with a wood purchase.
