Audio Video Cabinet

I own a company that does audio video installations and have been incorporating custom built pieces into my jobs and this is one of them. The customer had another company come in and install the electronics originally and what was there was just a hole in the wall with the equipment sitting on the ground. I suggested we build a recessed cabinet with a louvered door to let the equipment breath. I bought the fixed louvered door jig from Rockler and it was pretty easy to do. Its difficult to not get chatter when routing the slots and it was very monotonous doing all 18 louvers but it was worth it in the end.

Nice Design I must say for using that space in the first place maybe not completely your design but it looks to be storage in the stair case that you added your personal touch and made it become a nice little conversation cabinet storage type deal for guests.

Love this idea and I need to consider something of this nature for extra closet space due to living in a townhouse mine won’t house a reciever and such though
