I don’t know what make of plywood this is but was amongst the Marine Ply cut offs I got recently. It is heavier
that the other ply and had pink colouring through it. Was difficult to turn as it chipped even when turning with a very sharp skew chisel and scrapers. Needed a lot of sanding to get the final finish. Just a series of photos to show the different patterns that could be achieved if the layering was planned before gluing.

You don’t find that pink coloring a lot in plywood. maybe the glue did it.
I cut up the big batch of plywood we got yesterday and some has a black outer layer that looks like it was rough sanded. It looks almost like plastic. I’m using that first for my segmenting. I may only make a bowl!
