The wood came from a building at a friend’s house in the mountains of Bluegrass Virginia. The top was laying in his back yard when I got it & the piece fell off the back of my truck, forming this shape, so I went with it and it turned out ok. Solid oak. He also had an old house made entirely out of wormy chestnut!

Looks good and solid. The shape adds to the Art Deco, or at least the art as it sugests the shape of a painters paint palate.
