Spalted maple from a massive twisted burled trunk hollow up through the center and heavy as anything I have had to haul. The log was 32” dia and 7 feet long with the middle 20 inches gone. This bowl is 8” dia and 5” at it’s tallest. There is one large void on the outside filled with epoxy and brass fillings, finish is danish oil.
